I opened my mailbox and found two "gifts in the mail.
The Bitter:
A box of formula from Similac. Thanks Similac! You sure made my day! I will be sure to mix this and leave it for Santa with some cookies -maybe he will think its milk.
The Sweet:
Their blankets
Evan's Bear
Alyssa-Joy's Bear
Girl bear and boy bear with their hats and blankets.
A sweet gift in memory of my babies from a member of the IC forum. Tiffany makes miscarriage blankets for moms like me. She herself lost her precious baby Kaitilin, and now has another little sweetheart Emilie. Thanks Tiff. This is MY kind of gift.
This came at a perfect time. I was looking for a way to incorporate our babies into our family pictures, and this is the perfect solution. We will strategically place the bears in each picture.
Where is my expected end?
Wow the sweet outfits and blankets definately make up for the package from Similac. I never got one of those packages, thank goodness. But, I did move just weeks before I lost Ella, so maybe I evaded the package.
ReplyDeleteUgh, the first gift sucks...BUT, the second gift is so touching and sweet ((Hugs)) to you on receiving both of these gifts...
ReplyDeleteThe blankets and bears are so sweet! Love the pink and the blue.
ReplyDeleteI can relate as I got a Enfamil formula package in the mail recently.
Those hats and blankets are adorable. *hugs*
ReplyDeleteI wish we could somehow explain to hospitals that releasing our names like every other delivered mother just rubs salt in the wound. I remember Peter hiding boxes that came. of course, I later found them and it still hurt.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful blankets. How sweet.
Oh how bitter sweet for sure. The blankets are beautiful. What a wonderful thing Tiffany did for you. I am so praying that one day soon you will have a beautiful baby to swaddle in a blanket that will not be a keepsake but a comfort for you child. I LOVE the idea of having them as a part of your family photos. Portraiture is very dear to my heart and I think it's a wonderful way to honor your babies. Thinking of you. Hugs to you.

ReplyDeleteI love the blankets and bears, I love how you and going to have them in your picture! I have been trying to unsubscribe for about a year from all that stuff... ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteThe blankets are beautiful and wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI am following your blog now. Your babies are amazing gifts from God and beautiful. You are in my prayers. God is with us and it is wonderful that He has given bereaved mothers the ability to fellowship and share our stories and help each other glorify Him!
