But the thing that confuses me the most is the fact that other mothers - those with living children - seem to not understand that our love is just like theirs.

You are a beautiful, strong, courageous mother. And, you're right - your babies are perfect and beautiful.Bluebirdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05026618678540051581noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4076312643915655605.post-80399509991517185052010-03-07T12:49:30.552-05:002010-03-07T12:49:30.552-05:00They are beautiful.

I dont airbrush myself; so why would I airbrush them. (Although it is totally a personal decision).

I'll never forget an instance with the photos. I had some of Nick, Sophie, and Alex on my desk at work and a computer tech came to work on our network. He sat down behind my desk and, when I came back into my office, he said "Your children are beautiful." I was shocked for a second because I'd not realized he'd sit down and see them, but I said "thank you". He asked how old they were and we chatted for a bit before he shared, with tears in his eyes, that he and his wife had also lost a second trimester baby, their son to a cord incident. He said that it was so nice to see pictures of babies his son's age, because their hospital hadnt offered the option for photographs and, in their grief, they hadnt even thought of it. His wife was pregnant at the time, but they still were grieving their firstborn. He asked how long it had been, how my husband and I had survived... It was hard for him to talk about his grief, especially with a stranger, but I felt so grateful that God put me there, that he made us open with the pictures of our sweet babies. I've had the negative thoughts too. IN fact, someone came to our home and made a comment. My response; if you dont want to see pictures of our family, then perhaps coming to our house isnt the right decision for you.Michelehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17681333723382119281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4076312643915655605.post-89950505416387685942010-03-05T20:44:19.124-05:002010-03-05T20:44:19.124-05:00Beautiful and true.Beautiful and true.Mattiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10399030135018040344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4076312643915655605.post-81594843437514106602010-03-05T20:01:57.651-05:002010-03-05T20:01:57.651-05:00Yes, they are beautiful and perfect.
